Terms of Service

Last updated: June 18, 2026

These Terms govern your use of Otti. By using Otti, you agree to these Terms.

If you have questions, contact hello@meetotti.com.

What Otti Is

Otti is a private memory book for two. It lets two partners create a shared journal, add memories, save photos, add optional places, and revisit those memories together.

Otti is not a medical, therapy, counseling, crisis, or relationship advice service.

Your Account

You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your device and sign-in credentials secure. You must provide accurate information and use Otti only for lawful purposes.

You may not use Otti if you are under 13 or if you are not allowed to use the service under applicable law.

Shared Journals

An Otti journal is shared between two members. Content added to a journal may be visible to the other member of that journal. Do not add content you do not want your partner to see.

If you invite a partner, you are responsible for sending the invite to the intended person. If you receive an invite, only accept it if you understand whose journal you are joining.

Your Content

You keep ownership of the text, photos, locations, and other content you add to Otti.

You give Otti permission to host, store, process, transmit, display, and back up your content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve Otti.

You represent that you have the rights needed to upload and share the content you add. You may not upload content that is illegal, abusive, exploitative, invasive of another person's privacy, or that infringes someone else's rights.

Private Use and Safety

Otti is private, but it is still a shared space. You may not use Otti to harass, threaten, exploit, impersonate, or harm another person.

If you need help with content or account safety, contact hello@meetotti.com.

Subscriptions

Otti may offer a paid subscription called Otti Plus.

Subscriptions purchased in the iOS app are processed by Apple through your Apple account. Prices, trial availability, billing periods, renewal terms, taxes, and cancellation options are shown by Apple at purchase.

If a free trial is offered, it applies only as shown at purchase. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, Apple may begin charging your selected payment method when the trial ends.

You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple account subscription settings. Deleting your Otti account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription. You must cancel through Apple if you want billing to stop.

Refund requests for Apple in-app purchases are handled by Apple.

Account and Journal Deletion

You can request account deletion in the app. Account deletion immediately removes your active access and schedules permanent deletion or anonymization after a 30-day retention period.

Journal owners can request deletion of a shared journal. Journal deletion immediately hides the journal from both members and schedules permanent deletion after a 30-day retention period.

We may retain limited information longer when required for legal, security, billing, dispute, fraud-prevention, backup, or compliance reasons.

Changes to Otti

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. We will try to avoid disrupting the core private memory book experience, but we cannot guarantee that every feature will always be available.

Third-Party Services

Otti relies on third-party services for infrastructure, authentication, storage, analytics, crash reporting, notifications, and payments. Your use of those services may also be subject to their terms and policies.

Apple Terms

For the iOS app, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies where required. Apple is not responsible for Otti or for support and maintenance of Otti, except as required by applicable law.

No Warranty

Otti is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Otti will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, loss of goodwill, or service interruption.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for Otti or others, or if required by law.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and may provide additional notice in the app or on our website.
